Even the MST3k guys didn't even know what to do with this movie

As MST3k is sort of show within a show within a movie (within a short for this one) format, it is better to review the parts in order to grade the episode.

The Movie: The movie is bad - very bad - and not in a fun bad way either. It is really one of the worst movies I have ever seen. A good example is within the first ten minutes, Batwoman visits the HQ of the bad guy to negotiate. If she knows where his secret lab is, then why is there still 50 minutes of this terrible movie left!

Without MST3k (and trying to review the episode), I doubt I could have lasted 3 minutes watching this. AND it has nothing to do with the DC comics characters.

Host Segments: Very good. Most of the segments refer back to a "Beware of Cheating" short that they rip on before the movie.

Riffs: Honestly the movie is so uninteresting and void of reason that Mike and the bots really have nothing to work with. There are not a lot of riffs - just the occasional zinger.

Other: The short on cheating is good - but not one of the better shorts. However it does help in understanding the host segments.

Overall: Watch the short and the host segments and fast forward through the movie part. You really will not be missing much.

Great Short, Tedious Movie

The short is quite funny and in its own right is one of the best shorts done by MST3K. However, the movie is long and tedious. The MST3K crew does do a good job at riffing, but some films are just hard to watch. This is one of them.

MST3K Wild World of Batwoman

I just wrote this review to bump up the star rating. This is episode #515 soon after Joel left so the show was adjusting to Mike being on-screen. They show the short "Cheating" at the beginning of the episode and stick with it during the breaks because it had a clearer plot than the movie. There were good jokes in the episode, not their strongest episode but I always enjoy Mystery Science Theater 3000.
