Why do people act like gay men are the only ones who get AIDS?
There are LOTS of ways to catch AIDS, some of which don't even involve sex. A man is just as likely to catch AIDS from a slutty WOMAN as he is to catch it from a slutty MAN. Hell, you could even get it from a faulty blood transfusion!
So why, then, do people like to act as though gay men are the only group of people who are able to contract AIDS? I'm a lesbian (Least likely to catch AIDS) and still find it insulting.
What do you guys think?
I totally agree with you. It's ignorance and it's very insulting. It's also helping the diease spread through people's ignornace and not thinking they can get it because they aren't gay.
